Eric McGrath is a pediatric infectious diseases specialist and a founding member of Wayne Pediatrics. He has had an appointment in the Department of Pediatrics at Wayne State University (WSU) School of Medicine (SOM) since 2010.
He completed his undergraduate education at the University of Detroit Mercy with a major in Biochemistry. He attended Wayne State University School of Medicine for his medical degree. He completed his training in general pediatrics and subspecialty training fellowship in pediatric infectious diseases at Children’s Hospital of Michigan.
His clinical and research interests include pediatric HIV care, infection control and prevention, vaccination, and the study of infections in special populations such as immunocompromised hosts and transplant recipients.
